around the time dylan joined the band we were asked to be the guests on a charlotte local music podcast. we went, and it got a little uncomfortable. eventually we started ignoring the hosts all together and i drew a mustache on dylan in sharpie. we did get a few weirdly arranged live tracks out of it though.

Drop the needle and drop right out of all the worries of the world. If only for a while. It’s totally worth it. These are fantastic tunes from a legendary band. Just mind blowingly beautiful then savage then beautiful again. Yep…. bit like life. Enjoy…. johno71

Been following Somos for many years, feeling that they had an opus in them...well, here it is. Driving pop-punk sensibilities lend an upbeat tone in contrast to the grim lyrical proceedings, and they absolutely pull it off. Evocative music that's been on repeat for me all month long. RIP, Phil PaintedDogs
